Mouse in the House!

The newest member of the Wolf household has arrived!  Mouse made his Trans-Oceanic & Continental journey from Sam's place in England to my home in Washington!  He popped out of the packaging with a hearty and friendly 'Ello.

Welcome to the family!  Isn't he adorable?  He's soooo soft and cuddly.  I am in awe of Sam's sewing skills.

But he'll stay safely on the bureau with my other fragile treasures so that he doesn't accidentally get trodden on or Sagan doesn't decide that Mouse will be his special friend.  ;o)

Thank you again, Sam, and to Silkie Sue as well, as I know she helped out in her own special kitteh way.  I am honoured to own one of your special stuffed animals.  

I WON! I WON!

A few months ago, I did a blog post about a fantastic blog by a gifted artist in England, called Silkie Sue. Sam does illustrations for greeting cards and children's books, and she makes stuffed animals!  Anyone who knows me well knows how much I adore stuffed animals.  They have always been real to me.

She's had a couple of contests for her blog readers this year. If we linked her to our blogs, we were entered in a drawing to win one of her amazing creations, and I JUST FOUND OUT THAT I WON!!!

This is sweet Mouse, who is packing his bag and obtaining his Visa to move to my home in Washington State!  Isn't he ADORABLE???

Thank you so much Sam!!!  I am honoured to be chosen as the adoptive parent for Mouse and I assure you, he will be loved and cared for in his new forever home.

I've been following the blog of an extremely talented artist in the UK, Sam, who is supervised by Miss Silkie Sue, seen here. Sam is very prolific and an inspiration to lazy bones craftspeople like me. Sam is multi-talented, painting watercolour treatments....

.....which she then creates into the most adorable, hand made stuffed animals. This is William. Isn't he sweet?
