November 2016 Supermoon

I wasn't going to leave the comfort of my jammies and house to go look at the supermoon but decided to get dressed and go to Mass Maritime.  Really glad I did.  I have never seen a moon that big in my life.  And it was all lit up pink from the sunset too.

There goes the barge!  Kinda wish the train bridge had lowered for a train.  That would've been cool.

Really gorgeous!!!!!  Once in a lifetime!

  5. Thanks, JoJo for capturing those images. I didn't have a chance to see it with our Northwest rain coming down! The moon has always entranced me as would any other planet if we could see it closer. You are such a trooper when it comes to photos!

    1. Thank you! We were so lucky to have decent weather. The next day was the 'official' full moon and it was cloudy off and on but some people got good pics of it.

  9. Impressive photos. I also like the view of the wind turbine and the bridges--pretty cool. I didn't take any photos of the moon at that time, but I did go outside to look at it.

Wowzers! Totally worth getting out of your jammies for. We had some cloud cover that night so we didn't get to see the moon very well. Glad you got to experience it. :)
