Town Brook, Plymouth

I lost a whole week of walking and great weather when I got sick.  There were a few more things in Plymouth that I wanted to check off my local bucket list and I was finally able to get up there on the 1st of June.

First place I stopped was at this little covered bridge that spans Town Brook.

Next I drove a little ways further on and stopped at Town Brook Park.  I found out later that the trail at the covered bridge also comes down here.

The Plymouth Grist Mill is located here too.

Canada goose, awkward teenager phase

There were tons of geese with their babies.  I was kind of afraid of them, knowing that geese can attack, but these were clearly fine with humans because they were taking food out of the hands of other people in the park.

    1. Nope....the only thing in this stream I found out of place were discarded clam shells!

  2. Lovely area. Swans can attack more than Canada geese. They are pretty dangerous at times. Great pictures.

    1. I did move away from the banks when the swan spotted me taking pics of it. I'm in no hurry to find out how mean they can be!

  3. Your photos are breath taking and the one of the covered bridge could be the entrance to a magical world like Teribithia! ♥

    1. Thanks! I almost didn't go see that bridge...but I'm glad I did. It's a nice place to walk though.

    1. Next time I will walk down to the park from the bridge. I didn't realize how close they were till I to the second park. It's beautiful. I bet it's nice in fall with the foliage.

  5. Somehow it's comforting to know that even Canadian geese contend with the awkward teenage phase thing. Thanks for the giggles, JoJo. We have a covered bridge around here, and settings that look very similar and do much to promote my well being.

    1. There are better covered bridges up north in VT and NH, but this'll do for here. Maybe some day you can come east!

    1. Oh me too! Especially since the weather will soon be too humid for me to want to do anything or go anywhere. I have to take advantage of the dry weather whenever I can!
