Amazing. Your photo skills are really developing (pun intended, I like puns) right before my eyes. That sunset pic is to die for, and so is the moonshot (rim shot). I've tried moon pictures and there's a little tiny white dot on a black background. But I have (had...it died) crappy, cheap camera and no skills so it's my own dang fault.

Thanks all! I've learned that the real secret to shooting the moon is to do it at 'blue hour', right after the sun has gone down and the sky is a deep shade of blue. When I shoot the moon against black sky, it looks like a spotlight.
Your sunset is gorgeous and I am in awe of your fabulous moon picture. I got a new camera for Christmas and am having fun experimenting with it and taking pictures.
Loving the sunset picture..great colors, nature gives us spectacular views! the moon..I wish I could take close up photos too, we have beautiful full moon nights here.
