Got off to a slow start here, foliage-wise. Either that or I'm still expecting the early and then slow build up and peaking at Thanksgiving like on the west coast. But once it started.....WOW!

Love the photos of the changing trees along the river. With the river in front and that magnificent sky behind, it creates one truly inspirational photo. The beauty and the wonder of Nature.

Just lovely, makes me miss Ohio at this time of year!!! I always say that the south has the spring, but the north has the autumn... I guess nobody gets it ALL! But that beautiful bright red just doesn't happen here like that, ditto the really bright yellows. Its nice alright, but not *stunning* like that! (When my southern husband finally saw a northern autumn he was dazzled!)
ReplyDeleteNow, in spring, the azaleas in the south get really bright red and magenta-pink, which I haven't seen anywhere else. Its like you get one or the other!
I guess the answer would be to have so much money you could live in both places part of the year. :) The rich people all go to Hilton Head (from New York and places like that) during the spring. Now, that's livin.
