Fall and the Scarecrows of Buzzards Bay

We had a gorgeous fall season this year, hot and humid days not withstanding.  I was pleased to see the town decorated so festively by mid-October, including tons of scarecrows scattered all over town.  Apparently it was a contest.  Slideshow of said scarecrows is below.

St. Peter's church.  St. Peter is the patron saint of fishermen and shipwrights.

Totally loved this haunted house.  I bet they get tons of kids on Halloween night!!!

True story.

Again I say:  True story.

  2. Wow, your little town puts a wonderful effort into decorating for the Fall season. Very nice. As far as the scarecrow with boobs, must of been implants. They do say they'll last longer than the rest of ya. In our old neighborhood we have one cul-de-sac where the whole street decorates like that. There would be a guy hiding in the backyard of one of the houses and every once in a while he'd come running out with a chainsaw blaring. lol Lots of fun.

  5. Is that house like that all year round?

It seems to me that you have arrived at a suitably quirky place to live!
