Continuing our day tour of Victoria, which of course took place prior to the Halloween post I did. There are tons of souvenir shops along Government Street. It's your source for all of your Canadian-themed- tchotchkes-made-in-China needs. And also syrup actually made in Canada.

This is one of my fave murals in the entire world. I can't help but shoot a pic of it every time I'm up there. And I also love the old lamp post as well. This is worth clicking on to see it larger. It's also a good illustration of The Salish Sea.

It reminded me of Oscar Wilde's 'we are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.
ReplyDeleteI got some great tat from the touristy shops in West Edmonton Mall - I have a moose fridge magnet and Alberta t-shirts. I didn't look at the labels to see where they were made, though, I must check.
