The Perfect End to a Perfect Day
You have no idea how rare it is to get this kind of clear weather on the Washington coast at any time of year, much less in March. What a treat! Boats in the distance. I'll be back.
Thanks. I swear Washington is the west coast's best kept secret, and now we understand why. For one thing, it definitely does not rain 'all the time' like people think, although it is cloudy most of the time. New York gets more yearly rain than we do (except for the Olympic Peninsula, which measures it's rain in feet, not inches). People ask me if I'll ever move back to the Cape and it's a no brainer.
Beautiful... You crack me up. I do the exact same thing with sunsets. I have to keep snapping away at each stage because I don't want to miss any spectacularness! Maybe everyone does it, I don't know??
Anyway, I'm so happy for you that you are getting beyond what you hoped for. Enjoy! xo pf
Hi Joanne, These pictures are absolutely beautiful. And I thought the Atlantic Ocean had some nice views..... You are quite the photographer! You should quit your day job and go on the Travel Channel or something. That would be a cool job for sure! I am always blown away at the pictures you take and what a beautiful area you live in.The closest I ever got to Wa. is I lived in California, in the town of Tehachapi for a year with my sister in the 70's, cause my folks were going to move there. It was nowhere near the cost unfortunately! Hope all is well and you're looking forward to some nicer weather, like me! Take care, Marsha
Absolutely lovely! I know how you feel about beautiful days. I think your state is only one of three that is cloudier than Michigan. lol
ReplyDeleteIt was one of the things I missed most about Hawaii. You never go days without seeing the sun like you do around here.
Beautiful
