We have 4 thundercloud plums in our back yard, but these look so much more impressive. It was pouring rain when I shot these at about 4:00 p.m., hence the dark quality. These do not bear plums though. Their leaves are the colour of plums, a really cool dark dusty purple. The daffodils are coming up in the valley as well, and are being harvested for the annual Daffodil Parade in a couple of weeks.
Spring has sprung!
Wow they are beautiful. I really miss spring. In Florida it seems to come and go in one day. I like the warm but miss the season changes.

oh they're gorgeous jojo! when we lived in MO the dogwoods were everywhere, so pretty. here we have redwoods, apple and cherry blossoms, none of which have blossomed yet, but my daffodils are have buds!
