Bei...Bev - we did the backwards masking thing too. Being in radio, we had turntables that you could take out of gear and spin in order to cue up the records. If you spun the turntable backwards you could really hear the stuff. ELO was big into putting real backwards stuff into their songs (but nothing dark or 'satanic'). Allegedly 'another one bites the dust' by queen says 'it's fun to smoke marijuana' backwards but I never got that out of it! lolJoJohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18165375435543044068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30172845.post-40510587748769301052011-01-19T18:43:53.619-05:002011-01-19T18:43:53.619-05:00This reminds me of the time I had to do an essay o...This reminds me of the time I had to do an essay on Backmasking in Rock and Roll lyrics. So it looks like he was there from the late 60's to late 70's.

I have heard of Klute, I just never saw it. I know Jane Fonda was in it. The only thing I remember about it is from an episode of I think The Bob Newhart Show from the 70's. Ann Meara was guest starring on the show and when asked what she did for a living, her character replied, "Well.....have you ever seen Klute?" I had to ask my parents what it meant. lolJoJohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18165375435543044068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30172845.post-3574519444921404012011-01-19T15:35:12.340-05:002011-01-19T15:35:12.340-05:00JoJo, I just Googled the guy, and he is mentioned ...JoJo, I just Googled the guy, and he is mentioned in a website for the church!

http://www.southhillbiblechurch.org/our-history/valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08784717652044574470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30172845.post-27228482418267025062011-01-19T15:31:32.553-05:002011-01-19T15:31:32.553-05:00I just LOVE old newspapers! Many of the stories could have been about today (well, the day back when I bought it). I still have the remnants - when she started to get "absent-minded" she tore it up lengthways to line the cat litter tray. A very expensive liner - it cost £20.

I bet this guy had a stroke. Either through his apoplectic rage, or through wanking himself off over all this sinful stuff. It was a really famous movie, starring Donald Sutherland and Jane Fonda. Of course the horse didn't answer, because as you know they cannot speak, least of all to a garlic eating, stinking, little yellow greasy fascist bastard catholic Spaniard. They soon made it up howevans and Jesus and wee Spastic were once morphia unitely in a love that knew no Suzie. The only thing that puzzled Jesus was why his sugarboot got so annoyed when he called her his little Spastic in public.

* "A Spaniard In The Works" from A Spaniard In The Works (1965); this has been sometimes been misquoted as if Lennon were speaking specifically about Jesus Christ, when in fact, it is part of the odd narration of an odd story about a Spanish groom named "Jesus El Pifico".Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12233443337199299220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30172845.post-13572301963742592362011-01-18T11:27:31.718-05:002011-01-18T11:27:31.718-05:00I thought that kind of attitude was reserved for t...I thought that kind of attitude was reserved for the 50's!!!

Nice find tho' Jojo :0)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
